spine health and chiropractic Here are some statements that I’ve heard many times-

“I’m tired of this constant neck /back pain.”          “I wish I knew how to gain more energy.”
“I need to get rid of these headaches.”                 “I feel like I’m always sick. I need to get healthy.”

If this sounds like something you have said, my question to you is - What are you doing about it? Taking prescription or over the counter drugs as temporary pain relief?

It’s time to STOP using these crutches and start taking a proactive approach to body healing!

Here’s what you can expect-

1 - I’ll start with EDUCATION-

Did you know your body can heal itself?

Think of what happens when you cut your finger. You put a band aid on to stop the bleeding, and your body naturally takes over. The cut will clot, new cells fill in, and over time your finger is as good as new.

But what if the cut is interfered with?

If the band aid was put on with a splinter or sliver in your wound, that obstruction would prevent healing and the cut would become red, hot, swollen, and infected. I teach my patients to understand how removing the obstructions your body has will let it work towards healing itself.

2 - Then move to TREATMENT-

I start with basic questions-

“When and how did the symptom start?” ”                 “Where is it located?”
“Is it the result of an injury?”                                   “What makes it feel better? Or worse?”

Then do some general tests, such as -

• Blood Pressure • Respiration • Range of motion assessment • Muscle Tone assessment • Pulse • Reflexes • Muscle Strength tests • Neurological integrity.

Finally, I diagnose your condition and set an individualized chiropractic treatment plan for you, which may include-

• Adjustments to the Neck or Spine • Continued Education to improve Posture & Motor Control • Exercises to Improve Muscle Balance, Strength, and Coordination • Other treatments such as massage, heat/cold application, or nutrition.
